During this meeting, innovative leak detection in drip irrigation systems was central.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">The demo session was organised by&nbsp;<strong>VIVES University of Applied Sciences<\/strong>, in collaboration with&nbsp;<strong>Miedevia<\/strong>&nbsp;(stakeholder) and&nbsp;<strong>Didex<\/strong>&nbsp;(technology partner). Subsequently, the SFFP project DripControl was highlighted, which focuses on the early detection of leaks in irrigation systems using smart technology.<\/p>\n<\/article>\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n<section class=\"wp-block-group twee paddingtopbottom3 has-global-padding is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<article class=\"wp-block-group is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-left\">Drones in Action<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left wp-block-paragraph\">During the session, Didex gave a demonstration, where participants could see for themselves how quickly a field can be mapped and how thermal images provide direct insight into the location of leaks. This made it concretely visible how drones can make work in agriculture more efficient and precise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Furthermore, participants discussed the broader applications of drones, such as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Visual inspection of crops (vision)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Precision spraying<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Monitoring of growth and health<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left wp-block-paragraph\">Students, researchers and companies came together to discuss the future of drones in agriculture.
