The aim of this project is to make more efficient use of space in factories (guarding fences take up a lot of space). An additional aspiration is better collaboration between the robot and humans.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group twee paddingtopbottom3 has-global-padding is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-right\"><strong>What has been realised?<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-right wp-block-paragraph\">In the project, a working prototype has been developed utilising multiple cameras. The cameras provide the algorithm with information about the location of objects\/people in the space. This allows the robot to move around people while continuing its work. The people in the space are visualised in an online 3D environment to control the robot.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group twee paddingtopbottom3 has-global-padding is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What has been learned?<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One of the biggest challenges within the project was to merge multiple camera images into a 3D model.
