This assignment was carried out due to the increasing demand for inspection robots that must perform inspections in explosive environments. This means that people do not have to be deployed to carry out inspections in hazardous zones, thereby ensuring their safety.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group twee paddingtopbottom3 has-global-padding is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-right\"><strong>What has been realised?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-right wp-block-paragraph\">Within the project, a robot for autonomous inspection of switchgear has been developed. A prototype has been built that can perform inspections on windows, doors and thermostats. This uses a camera that transmits the live image to the inspector, who is in a safe location. Additionally, the inspector can view the measured values on the interface and draw conclusions from them as to whether action is required.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group twee paddingtopbottom3 has-global-padding is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What has been learned?<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The project group has learned to anticipate changing circumstances, such as component supply problems. In addition, the group has learned to work together under time pressure.
