Knowledge session with PKM and guided tour at host VDL Steelweld — for the B'Robotics network
The trusted Machinery Directive is being replaced by the new European Machinery Regulation (EU 2023/1230). From 20 January 2027, it will be mandatory – with no transition period. What exactly is changing, and how can you prepare your organisation for it now?
B'Robotics is organising a knowledge session on this topic on Thursday 24 September at host VDL Steelweld. Regulations expert Werner Verboom of PKM (advisors for entrepreneurs in the SME metal and technical sector, part of Koninklijke Metaalunie) will guide you through the most important changes—from the scope and harmonised standards to the modified and new requirements, and how to deal with them in practice. Afterwards, you will get a behind-the-scenes look during a tour of VDL Steelweld, followed by a networking drink.
Theory and practice, then, all in one afternoon — with ample opportunity to exchange knowledge and experiences with other companies from the network.
