S.V. Silicium is the study association for and by Electrical Engineering students at Avans University of Applied Sciences in Breda. The association was founded with the aim of promoting camaraderie among students and giving them a better understanding of professional practice. They achieve this by collaborating with companies, associations, and other organisations relevant to their future careers.

S.V. Silicium organises various activities annually, such as indoor football tournaments, end-of-year barbecues, and company visits. The association offers students a platform for both social and professional development. Together with our partners, we develop, test and implement new applications in robotics and AI within our robotics cluster and field lab. As a partner, you gain access to our tech community, with round-table discussions, workshops and meetings. You can make use of our field lab to test, develop and meet. We also organise events where students, education and companies come together.
