Interreg ZorgRobotica across borders

Healthcare in the Netherlands and Flanders is under significant pressure due to an ageing population, staff shortages, and increasing demand for care. The Interreg ZorgRobotica (Cross-border Healthcare Robotics) project addresses this by making robotics and AI practically applicable in healthcare, with the aim of relieving healthcare professionals, increasing efficiency, and offering clients greater independence.

In this cross-border Interreg project, healthcare organisations, technology companies, knowledge institutions, and field labs from the Netherlands and Flanders are working together intensively. The project's strength lies in its demand-driven approach: concrete challenges from healthcare practice serve as the starting point for the development and further refinement of robotics solutions.
