At the closing event of Interreg Smart Farming & Food Processing A special journey has been completed. For three years, companies, knowledge institutions, and partners have collaborated on innovation within the agro- and food-processing sector. During the final event, these efforts came together in an inspiring day full of reflection, dialogue, and future prospects.
Three years of innovation in eight innovation trajectories
The Interreg Smart Farming & Food Processing project has, over the past three years, led to eight concrete innovation pathways, During the closing event, these projects were discussed in detail: where did we start, what steps were taken, and what impact have the innovations had in practice?
The attendees were given an overview of the various pathways and the lessons learned from them. This not only provided an opportunity for reflection but also for sharing insights that will be valuable for future initiatives.
Panel discussion as a moment of deepening
A key part of the programme was the Panel discussion, in which stakeholders discussed collaboration within the project, the role of innovation, and the challenges and opportunities for the sector. The panel provided depth and interaction, allowing for various perspectives from practice, technology, and knowledge.
This open dialogue made clear how valuable it is to collaborate and share knowledge across borders. At the same time, it looked ahead: how can the experiences gained be used to take further steps towards a future-proof agro- and food processing sector?
Valuable encounters and new connections
The closing event was well-attended and characterised by an open and engaging atmosphere. In addition to the substantive programme, there was ample opportunity for networking, good conversations, and making new connections. In doing so, the event underlined what the project stood for: Innovating through collaboration.
Thanks to the commitment, knowledge, and involvement of all parties concerned, we can proudly look back on a successful project and a successful conclusion.
