RanMarine is een innovatieve technologiebedrijf uit Rotterdam dat zich specialiseert in autonome waterdrones voor het reinigen van waterwegen. Hun bekendste product, de WasteShark, verwijdert afval, biomassa en algen uit stedelijke wateren en meet tegelijkertijd de waterkwaliteit in real-time. RanMarine combineert robotica, AI en milieutechnologie om een schoner en gezonder leefmilieu te bevorderen, met toepassingen in steden wereldwijd.
Als partner van Breda Robotics werkt RanMarine mee aan het project “Schoonmaken Singel Breda” binnen het New Technology-programma. Samen met partners zoals Gemeente Breda, Avans Hogeschool en Curio wordt de WasteShark ingezet en doorontwikkeld als slimme oplossing voor waterreiniging. Studenten dragen bij aan onderzoek en innovatie, terwijl RanMarine de technische leiding verzorgt. Deze samenwerking versterkt het ecosysteem van robotica en duurzaamheid in West-Brabant.
