On 26 October, at Mijzo on Dongepark, we are officially launching the new Interreg project At Home Robotics – Across Borders. Healthcare in the Netherlands and Flanders is under pressure due to an ageing population and staff shortages. In this cross-border project, healthcare organisations, technology companies, knowledge institutions, and field labs from both countries are collaborating to make robotics and AI practically applicable in healthcare: to relieve healthcare professionals, make processes more efficient, and give clients more independence.
The approach is demand-driven: concrete challenges from healthcare practice form the starting point. Healthcare organisations present the issues, and companies from the robotics and tech sectors develop and test solutions for them.
During the launch event, you will be introduced to the project and its partners, we will pitch four concrete healthcare robotics cases (problem statement, solution, and involved partners) and showcase innovations already in operation at Dongepark, such as the Syrenshower and Bedsense. Mijzo will also share how they set up and develop innovations. We will conclude with a networking reception.
Whether you are a care organisation, healthcare professional, technology or robotics company, or knowledge institution: this is the moment to tap into the future of care robotics.
