On Wednesday 26 November, we are organising together with ZLTO With FieldWorkers in Poederoijen, a workshop on the Sun-powered Work Assistant, an innovative field robot that runs entirely on solar energy. The Sun-powered Work Assistant is a fully electric, solar-powered, autonomous implement carrier. That is being developed for small growers.
You can mount various tools under the platform, such as a ‘hoe’.
During this afternoon you will discover how smart technology and sustainable energy come together in agricultural practice. The programme offers an inspiring mix of presentations, a live demonstration, and opportunities to exchange experiences during the closing reception.

- 1.30 pm – 2.00 pm – Reception
- 14:00 – 14:30 – Welcome & introduction by Jessica and Koen (project introduction)
- 14:30 – 15:00 – Demonstration of the Solar-Powered Work Assistant (outside in good weather, otherwise indoors in the shed)
- 15:00 – 16:00 – Drinks, Review & Exchange – what did we take away from the demo?
