The Interreg COBOTASSIST project is now halfway through and has entered an implementation phase. The three demonstrators at Sirris (Genk), Breda Robotics and Fontys are operational and ready for deployment within companies in the context of voucher programme. The first vouchers are currently being prepared and launched.
The Online training on robotic post-processing Is Live and, together with hands-on workshops, forms the basis of the training offered for manufacturing companies. The project is also at cruising speed in terms of communication: a Introductory video, newsletters and a series of ten Technical articles The company is working on things like post-processing, offline programming, path planning, and safety for cobots. Podcasts and business testimonials. In parallel to this, new events, inspiration sessions and practical days planned, including demonstrations on the operational setups.
Finally, a learning network with companies launched to share experiences from voucher schemes and connect companies with each other and with technology providers.
