Project information
In this project, a new communication method has been developed for the inspection robot. This method allows data to be sent from the robot to an external location, where it is then securely stored and analysed. The inspection robot is deployed in hazardous environments to check installations for faults. By using autonomous inspection, the risk of dangerous situations can be reduced, and inspection costs can be significantly lowered.

What has been realised?
The project team has commenced a thorough investigation into possible communication methods. Following this investigation, a suitable method has been selected and integrated into the robot. This new communication method enables the robot to directly transmit diverse data to the operator, contributing to a safe working environment.
What has been learned?
The project group has realised that project management, alongside gaining substantive knowledge, plays a crucial role in the successful execution of a project. It is important to regularly ask for feedback and communicate promptly with team members and other stakeholders.
