This project arose from the increasing demand for energy. During peak demand, it can sometimes be difficult to meet energy needs. Therefore, this project has developed a system that can communicate with charging stations, allowing energy consumption to be controlled and optimised.
What has been realised?
The project group has developed a system and accompanying website that enables communication with charging stations. This allows charging sessions to be started and managed remotely. Data is collected through this system, offering valuable insights that support further experiments in the energy transition.
What has been learned?
The project group has learned a great deal about stakeholder management, where aligning requirements and expectations with stakeholders proved essential. Furthermore, they gained experience in communication between charging stations and the system, a new area for them. They also acquired important knowledge regarding application security.
